Deproduction, a Denver-based video production company, and Civic Pixel, an open-source web development group, have joined forces to become the Open Media Foundation. The two groups were previously affiliated through Denver Open Media where they taught local communities media production tools, producing unique and engaging content in the process. Read more »

The Creative Commons international community has organized two Technology Summits in 2008 — one in Mountain View, CA in June and one in Cambridge, MA in December. The third CC Technology Summit will take place June 26, 2009 in Turin, Italy at Politecnico di Torino.
