Online community

2008 - in progress

Lorenzo De Tomasi has designed the information architecture and the interface of an online community on collaborative cartography, that permits to young people from all Europe to edit contents and organize them geographically on interactive maps.

The project has been ideated by Lunaria and funded with support from the European Commission (Youth in action program).

The website has been developed by Marco Ridoni and  Lynx and release under a Gnu/Gpl license.

In collaboration with Viaggiare domandandosi association and Viaggi e Miraggi, a responsible tourism cooperative, we are creating a short animation movie for the promotion of a more responsible tourism, to be distributed in the schools and on the Internet. The budget (€3˙000 taxes included) is very low if compared with the engagement, but we are proud to invest our time for this important cause, hoping it will be the first episode of a long series.
