YouMap. Young urban cartographies
2008 - in progress
Lorenzo De Tomasi has designed the information architecture and the interface of an online community on collaborative cartography, that permits to young people from all Europe to edit contents and organize them geographically on interactive maps.

Oryx XForms Editor, a web-based tool for creating XForms
On W3C’s XForms mailing list, Jan-Felix Schwarz has announced the Oryx XForms Editor, a web-based tool for creating XForms. You can visually edit forms, export and import them in XForms format. The editor runs in your web browser (Firefox), zero software installation required. The editor is still in an early stage and is currently available for testing and feedback. Semantic WordPress: first steps
Some features of our project for a semantic WordPress have been implemented. Please test, evaluate and suggest.
- default license selector for the whole site, based on Creative Commons wpLicense;
- event description based on Event Calendar: resolving date and time translations, please help; adding microformats and rdfa support;
- subpages menu for each page with children or siblings, based on Sub Pages widget: adding expand/collapse folders by javascript;
- advanced category management, based on Enhanced Categories;
- multiple languages plugin that affects the whole interface (header, footer, pages, templates, categories, calendar etc.), based on qTranslate: solving last incompatibilities with other plugins;
- integrated geolocation for each post, based on GeoPress;
- xhtml strict + css validated code.
