YouMap. Young urban cartographies
2008 - in progress
Lorenzo De Tomasi has designed the information architecture and the interface of an online community on collaborative cartography, that permits to young people from all Europe to edit contents and organize them geographically on interactive maps.

Semantic WordPress: first steps
Some features of our project for a semantic WordPress have been implemented. Please test, evaluate and suggest.
- default license selector for the whole site, based on Creative Commons wpLicense;
- event description based on Event Calendar: resolving date and time translations, please help; adding microformats and rdfa support;
- subpages menu for each page with children or siblings, based on Sub Pages widget: adding expand/collapse folders by javascript;
- advanced category management, based on Enhanced Categories;
- multiple languages plugin that affects the whole interface (header, footer, pages, templates, categories, calendar etc.), based on qTranslate: solving last incompatibilities with other plugins;
- integrated geolocation for each post, based on GeoPress;
- xhtml strict + css validated code.
Apple like accesible search field
Add to your website an Apple like search field, with rounded borders, shadows, the lens and the reset button. This solution, specific for Wordpress, is based on xhtml strict + css accessible codes, compatible with Mozilla Firefox, Apple Safari, Internet Explorer 7 and 6. You can customize graphics editing the images and localize the widget in infinite languages, thanks to php-gettext support.
